Carl P. Meyer, Executive Vice President

Carl Meyer has an extensive background in health care with leadership experience ranging from technology to distribution and supplier positions. Carl was the Vice President of National Accounts and Distributor Relations for BSN Medical Inc. While there, he helped the organization transition from a direct supply chain to a distribution-centric and GPO-aligned operation, growing sales through these channels significantly while driving substantial cost reductions.

Carl was the Vice President of Key Accounts for Neoforma helping them to develop relationships with providers and key GPO’s for their e-commerce supply chain improvement services. He founded the National Accounts Council, served on the Board of the Healthcare Manufacturer’s Management Council (HMMC), served on numerous industry advisory councils and is the creator of 100 Holes for Our Heroes benefiting Hire Heroes USA.

Scott “Scotty” Holmes, Executive Vice President

Over the course of his career, Scotty held a variety of management positions focused on business development, sales leadership and marketing. His most recent assignment was the management of the business relationship between 3M and both Novation and Cardinal Healthcare.

Scotty has developed large networks from the executive level to the operational level within IHNs, GPOs and Distributors. He brings with him expertise in process through his Lean Six Sigma training, practical experience in contract development, strategic pricing, marketing and implementation of strategy.

Dan Whitenack, PH.D., Organizational Psychologist, CPG

Dr. Whitenack earned his B.A. from Emory University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from the University of Nebraska. He was awarded the Presidential Fellowship as the University’s Outstanding Graduate Student. After receiving his doctorate, he worked at BellSouth for five years before joining the firm in 1992 – becoming a partner in 1997. He has evaluated thousands of candidates for various companies and across different industries. Dr. Whitenack has developed and analyzed hundreds of employee opinion and 360-degree feedback surveys.

Michael S. Stoia, Executive Vice President

As a veteran of the health care industry with 30 plus years of experience in the field, Michael’s accomplished work history includes GE Healthcare, McKesson Corporation, Cardinal Health, Hewlett Packard Medical Products, Xerox and the U.S. Air Force. His record of accomplishments include new business development, strategic planning, operational implementation and proven leadership. His goal is to strategically harness the potential of highly innovative technologies in a way that it is streamlined, optimized and effective in today’s health care marketplace.

José M. Ibáñez, Senior Advisor

José has extensive experience in medical device manufacturing operations. He transitioned four disposable device-manufacturing plants from Abbott Laboratories in May 2004 to Hopsira. These plants provided excellent customer service and financial performance during the spin-off. Plants included three tax preferences in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Ireland with a domestic plant in Salt Lake City. While at Abbott Laboratories, he managed over $300MM in annual earned production, with 4,000 employees, over 200 million single use products produced and $5MM annual cost improvements. Jose has implemented Six Sigma process in device plants. He has built a device plant in Costa Rica covered by tax preference benefits.
